The EA uses an advanced recovery mechanism — it intelligently groups multiple profitable orders and uses them to offset and close out the largest losing position. This dual-layer hedging keeps your equity curve incredibly smooth.
Optimized for Long-Term Bull Trends
Because US30, DE40, and FRA40 exhibit a long-term upward bias, we've separated Buy and Sell parameters into independent tracks.
This means even in indices that trend relentlessly higher over years, the EA can still extract profit from Sell-side opportunities — without the Buy-side parameters interfering with short-side logic.
Each direction gets its own entry rules, lot sizing, and take-profit targets — tuned specifically for the asymmetric nature of index markets.
Symbol Cut Loss — GoldEdge US30 features a dedicated per-symbol Cut Loss mechanism. In the event of a black swan, the EA will automatically cut losses and resume trading after a 24-hour cooldown, ensuring capital preservation comes first.

Run your optimization using the parameters below on the H4 timeframe. H4 provides robust, stable results with high real-account correlation — because wider timeframes are far less affected by spread fluctuations.
- Minimum Order Distance X ATR — Distance between orders
- Take Profit ATR
- Symbol Cut Loss % based on AmountPerBaseLot
- Maximum Profitable Positions — Max profitable orders used for hedging
- Target Net Profit After Hedging — Calculated based on Amount per BaseLot
- Minimum ATR Ratio — No entry below this ratio
- Maximum ATR Ratio — No entry above this ratio
Prop Firm Note: Prop firm rules require a unique strategy. Use these parameters as your optimization framework — the specific values you dial in become your unique edge.
Change Lot Size
Amount per BaseLot & BaseLot must be adjusted together. For example, if you start at $5,000 with 0.1 Lot, doubling the capital means $10,000 with 0.2 Lot.
This is critical because two parameters are calculated based on Amount per BaseLot:
- Symbol Cut Loss % based on AmountPerBaseLot
- Target Net Profit After Hedging
Always scale these together — otherwise your risk profile and profit targets will be misaligned.
